Office Lens

This is the coolest, smartest app I have seen recently. Check it out and make sure you download it to your phone NOW before you forget. Essentially you can use your phone to photograph any document, receipt, business card or whiteboard from any angle and the app automatically frames it, trims it and changes the perspective as if you were directly in front. Then you have the option to save to One Note, photo gallery, create PDF, send email or interact with numerous other apps.

What’s more it is free. One Note is a great place to store all this stuff and this is also free for desktop, tablet and phone (Android and iOS included)! All from Microsoft. Whatever your perception is of Microsoft it is well worth looking at their latest products. A lot has changed and they are very much on top of their game.
